As Solution Specialist for Healthcare Software Development, you advise our medical technology, pharmaceutical and life science clients in the initiation of software development projects from technical concept creation to implementation of innovative and market-shaping digital products and software solutions.
Your tasks include:
- Contribution to client presentations, project concepts, offers and other content for the communication with clients and the attraction of new clients
- Conducting client workshops and solution presentations
- Advising clients on defining and designing successful products for their industry, on technical implementation of their solutions and on successful project implementation
- Close collaboration and relationship building with decision-makers at client organizations
- Identify needs, challenges, and solution options in the client’s organization
- Close collaboration with Sales to identify, attract and win new clients
- Setup of new software development projects and technical leadership of project teams in the early phase of projects
- Creation of publications and presentations for industry-specific media and events

You will also need the following skills and experience:
- Multiple years of professional experience as a software architect, software developer, consultant in IT environment or in technical sales
- Experience in medical technology, pharmaceutical or life science industry
- Ideally experience in consulting
- Extensive experience in conception, development and quality assurance of software solutions in various technology fields (e.g. cloud solutions, web applications, desktop applications, IoT solutions, mobile apps, etc.)
- Experience in dealing with common technologies and standards (e.g. HL7 FHIR, DICOM, SDC, etc.) as well as development processes and industry standards (e.g. ISO 13485, IEC 62304, etc.) in medical technology, pharmaceutical or life science industry
- Experience in implementation of software development projects using agile methods (in particular SCRUM) and setup of technical project infrastructure (e.g. continuous delivery / integration, infrastructure as code, etc.)
- Knowledge of typical requirements for cybersecurity (particularly in healthcare) and suitable solution options
- Experience in stakeholder management and coaching expertise
- Experience in managing software development teams
- Willingness to travel
- Full business proficiency in both German and English
