The working student / intern (m/f/d) needs to work for at least 20 hours a week for a minimum period of at least three months in our Business Partner Finance department in the Global Finance and Procurement division.
The position is to be filled as soon as possible. The place of employment is KWS Berlin GmbH in Berlin.
The Intern/Working Student supports the development of Business Partner Finance Function by helping the Finance Business Partners & Lead to roll out strategic projects and initiatives which are derived from the GFP Strategy. He/She works’ hand-in-hand with the Lead Business Partner Finance EMEA in driving the department towards the future, standardizing and automating the Business Partner deliverables and bringing innovation, and delivering new activities and topics as well as improvements in current activities. In addition to solving day-to-day problems, you have the necessary vision to find solutions off the beaten path.
Your tasks:
- Supports the Lead Finance Business Partner EMEA on a daily basis
- Project Management for Business Partner Finance projects and initiatives
- Support the definition and implementation of the functional KWS-wide strategy and strategic priorities, for example: setting, developing and monitoring of KPIs and deliverables
- Develops and rolls out strategic projects and initiatives across the Business Partner Finance function
- Manages, monitors and tracks initiatives, deliverables and reporting status
- Support the Business Partners in collaboration with the business, Global Transaction Centre and Controlling colleagues.
Your Skills and Experience:
- You are currently studying in the field of business administration / economics / finance / business engineering or a similiar course of study at least in your third semester
- You have reliable user knowledge in MS-Office; Experience with SAP; other ERP systems are nice to have
- You can work under pressure and convince through organizational strength and an independent way of working
- High degree of flexibility, stress-handling capacity and stress tolerance
- Acting pro-actively and obligingly as a team-player
- Keen sense for organization and steering of projects
- Willingness to go the extra mile
- Project management experience is a plus but not necessary
- In addition, you are always reliable and trustworthy and speak fluent English (spoken and written)
