We are looking for a working student (m/f/d) to join our Web Development Team in Berlin (remote work only for students which have enough experience), who is currently enrolled in a bachelor/master's degree in informatics, media informatics, business informatics or a related field with a focus on Web development (Backend or Frontend).

What you can expect:

• Active participation, development and maintenance of existing web services and projects
• Implementation of new features, services and API-interfaces (PHP,MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Troubleshooting and bug fixing
• Development of clean, reusable and comprehensible code
• A motivated team of experts in the area of web development
• Work on exciting and diverse projects, at times directly in-house with the client
• Cooperation with other teams, like e.g. Design, Project Managers and other developers

What you should bring to the table:

• You are currently enrolled in a bachelor/master's degree in informatics, media informatics, business informatics or a related field
• Good knowledge of object-oriented coding with PHP and the design process of APIs (RESTful, GraphQL)
• Basic experience with relational databases like mySQL or PostgreSQL, and noSQL Databases such as MongoDB or Redis
• Basic experience with Git
• Basic familiarity with test automation and TDD
• Solution-oriented and independent way of working
• Strong sense of responsibility, team spirit and client focus
• being familiar with at least one major PHP full stack framework like Symfony, Laravel or Zend
• Advanced english skills
