Process Engineer (m/f/d)

LOI Thermprocess GmbH, within Tenova, is the internationally leading company for both heat treatments plants for steel and aluminium and secondary metallurgical plants.

As part of our R&D team, you are a driver for the transformation of the steel and aluminum industry towards de-carbonization. Responsibilities:

• Development and optimization of heat treatment plants and processes
• Process design of heat treatment plants and definition of metallurgical process routes
• Mathematical modeling of heat treatment processes
• Worldwide support for our Sales and Commissioning activities

Skills required:

• Master/Diploma-, or PhD degree with focus on thermoprocess technology, materials science, mechanical engineering, energy engineering or process technology
• Professional experience in fields of heat engineering, combustion, fluid dynamics and industrial furnace technology
• Candidates with knowhow in material science in the fields of aluminum and/or steel is considered as an advantage
• Good English and German Skills, if possible at negotiation level
• Creative and innovative mindset
• Willingness to travel worldwide
