• An essential part of your mission will be setting the direction of “Small Part Machining” development inside Industry Segments over the coming 2 - 5 years
• This includes defining, implementing, and maintaining the strategic roadmap of tools for the Swiss machining industry sector and being the driving force behind Walter’s Small Part initiatives
• You will analyze market trends and customer needs to identify the potential of industry segment areas which contain small parts applications
• You will develop and offer solutions for high potential components and transversal application operations and features
• You will promote relevant products, solutions, and services to potential and existing customers to enhance market shares
• Active cooperation and exchange of information within Product Management with the aim of implementing market and customer needs in component/feature/product specific solutions
• Close collaboration with Sales: Support sales execution of local opportunities by collecting and sharing best practices to develop effective ways of knowledge exchange is also part of your area of responsibility
• You will execute the Industry Segment Driver role by monitoring progress of target achievement and initiating corrective actions if needed

• You have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• You have years of experience working with metal working products in the Swiss machining industry, preferably with a strong background in complex turning applications
• You have proficiency with training and presentation skills to large and small groups
• You have the ability to build, maintain and manage networks
• You have high communicative competence in an international environment
• You have an ability to identify long-term developments and trends and high level of practical turning experience in the small part machining area
