About the position

Your responsibilities

Management and leadership

• Team management, leadership & development
  • Manage team of 2 senior managers and 3 to 6 managers and working student(s), ensuring they have clear visibility on priorities, and objectives.
  • Oversee the well-being of team members, with a particular focus on colleagues who work on a time-share between the Growth Office and Colocation Centres.
• Good budget & financial stewardship
  • Manage budget envelops allocated to Department activities, ensuring monitoring of actuals versus budget figures to channel underspent and request additional funding at relevant times of the business plan cycle.
  • Manage activities in plaza/administration platforms.
  • Monitor KPIs, anticipate underperformance and develop mitigation plans in collaboration with Director and Management Team.
• Management Team interactions
  • Report to Chief Growth Officer, attend regular bilateral as well as Management Team meetings.
  • Work in full autonomy based on strategic directions agreed with the Management Board. Escalate in full transparency when and where relevant.
  • Consolidate activity reports and dashboard to guarantee information flow.

• Design and supervise the funnel for participation in new opportunities, including translation of scanned opportunities as well as filtering of emerging opportunities from anywhere of the organisation
• Be the reference for new oppoprtunities for EIT Health. Ensure the proper communication across the organization.
• Supervise and manage the risks of participating vs. not participating in new proposal and business service opportunities.
• Supervise the secretariat of the New Opportunities Committee. Coordination of control point for opportunities pipeline
• In collaboration with the CGO, support the Chief Parnetship Management Officer (CPMO) in the alignment with partners for the definition, selection and preparation of new opportunities.
• Supervise the identification of technical skills needed to contribute to new opportunities proposals and discover in collaboration with Resource Management Tool internal capacity to incorporate this technical expertise (e.g. from Innovation & Transformation team, Accelerator competence) into opportunities processes
• Manage the facilitation of the transfer of approved deals into the relevant implementation teams
• Supervise the knowledge base of current opportunities, including in cooperation with existing InnoStars/CLC functions and previous experience.

• Own the revenue strategy definition with regards to developing new initiatives, projects or services that support the EIT Health strategy and can also yield new revenues and funding streams that support the sustainability of the wider EIT Health organisation, based on current expertise or programmes of the different business units. Align with Assets Management and finance units to monitor the progress towards the agreed revenue targets.
