Job Description Summary: Our team of Account Executives is focused on driving growth by selling into a small portfolio of some of our largest volume driving customers in the DEATCH region. We build on our longstanding relationships to develop robust growth plans mapping PayPal's suite of payment and commerce solutions to the account's business needs. Our team partners closely with internal cross-functional teams to deliver an end-to-end sales process in collaboration with our clients. Internship location - Berlin, Germany Internship duration - 6 months, starting April 2024

We are looking for someone with strong business acumen and analytical skills. This role will suit a dedicated individual who is motivated to learn from seasoned Account Executives and multiple other teams and can support us along the way. The successful candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the strategic B2B relationship management process and will help to deliver PayPal’s value proposition to all levels of the clients’ organizations.

Your day to day

• Manage strategic projects for the Director Enterprise Sales
• Identify data driven opportunities to accelerate our sales cycle and implement them
• Support pipeline management and reporting
• Help design sales pitches and enrich pitch decks with data insights
• Analyze client data and product impact

What do you need to bring

• Commercial acumen and the ability to understand business models and financial performance and KPIs
• Ability to effectively communicate with executives as well as all other internal and external stakeholders, regardless of role or level
• Knowledge of ecommerce, retail, or payment industry, and genuine interest in digital, mobile commerce and innovation
• Presentation skills including in-person, written, and verbal in English and German
• Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with attention to detail
• Strong cross-functional project management skills; comfortable in a complex selling environment with multiple decision makers at many levels both internally and externally.
• Proficient in English is essential - written and spoken
• Proficiency in German will be considered a strong advantage for this role - written and spoken
