We are looking for a Head of Center of Excellence PLC Products at Drive Products Division located in Heidelberg, Germany. In this key-leadership role you will lead PLC Product Business meet its strategic targets and ambitions, living by ABB values, code of conduct and integrity. You will drive health and safety agenda, profitable growth, and superior customer experience in assigned market. You will have end-to-end responsibility for business activities including operations and portfolio (products, research & development activities) and commercial (sales, product management and marketing). You will report to Division President of Drive Products and be part of Division Leadership team.

Your responsibilities

• Responsible for PLC Products P&L. Drive profitable growth and superior customer experience in alignment with business strategy
• Accountable for leading PLC Products operations and value chain with end-to-end mindset
• Accountable for leading Center of Expertise (CoE) ensuring excellent customer & market support, successful delivery of new product development projects as well as active product life cycle management
• Drive HSE, quality and continuous improvement development and execution in PLC Products. Ensure alignment with strategic plan
• Execute global projects and activities together in line with global plans
• Implement and ensure business compliance with ABB Corporate and Country standards, rules, and processes
• Ensure that the Product Line is properly organised, staffed, skilled and directed

Your background

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years work experience in senior leadership roles in various functions
• Proven leadership track record of leading people and organizations with P&L responsibility
• Good understanding of PLC as a product, relevant markets, customers, and competition
• Customer-oriented & strategic mindset with passion to drive business results through people
• A people leader & developer, good communicator and collaborator
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and good German skills. Finnish skills are advantage
