We are now looking for a Regional Ethics & Compliance Officer (m/f/d) for Europe, CEE Region, providing high-quality, strategic and practical compliance advice, guidance and support for Getinge’s operations in the regions.
The said role will be reporting to Head of Regional Ethics and Compliance Business Advisory.
Ethics & Compliance:
- Mastermind of Ethics and Compliance policies and protocols on behalf of the organization. Custodian of Code of Conduct.
- Training and awareness wrt all E&C policies. It includes preparation of desired training ppt’s English or local language.
- Cascading and implementing global initiatives in Europe such as policies, trainings, awareness, various E&C program’s and collaboration with task force.
- Develop and implement a compliance program to ensure the organization operates in accordance with state and federal laws. Remain up to date on all federal and state laws and international standards related to the organization and update policies in accordance with the company process.
- Closely working and taking self-initiatives wrt work relating to due diligence of third parties, commercial sponsorships, HCP/HCO engagements, grants, donations, and other Global E&C program’s and ensuring its compliance.
- Closely working with various departments for approvals and review.
- Business advisory on ethics and compliance topics.
- Determining and implantation wrt third parties’ trainings and organizing compliance related events such as compliance week, training and awareness program’s.
- Third Party KYC (Know your customer)
- Implementing new idea’s/initiatives to strengthen E&C function as per the process of the company.
- Perform compliance audits/risk assessments to determine whether establish protocols are being followed and where they can be improved. Implementation of the remediation plan wrt non-compliances and identified gaps.
- Maintain up to date written documentation and reports, trackers pertaining to all E&C activities. Determine compliance metrics and establish a system for tracking them.
- Internal & Cross border support and collaboration wrt to E&C program’s and other teams.

- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
- You must be able to teamwork and cooperate with all levels of the organization with a positive and engaging style despite sometimes challenging circumstances.
- You have knowledge of global business and international matrix models.
- You are a team player with a proactive in providing high-quality compliance support, often under time pressure.
- You possess good judgment in knowing when and how to escalate issues to the appropriate level and propose solutions.
- You perform work with integrity and responsibility.
- You have demonstrated experience in executing large projects and building consensus across stakeholder groups. You approach problems proactively and by proposing solutions.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively both with regional and global peers in a matrix organization. Knowledge of ethical principles and avoiding conflicts of interest, and their interplay with effective Ethics & Compliance.
