Join our Communications team in full-time (40 hrs./week) as Junior Communications Manager (m/f/d) at our location in Berlin or remote.
- You and the team are the interface and first point of contact for any student communication inquiries from different in-house departments at IU.
- Creating and translating texts for our student communication in German and (British) English, ensuring compliance of all student communication with relevant guidelines (i.e. gender-inclusive language) and internal regulations.
- Publishing your content independently via our internal platforms and via email.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of a consistent brand image across all communication channels related to student services, including email, learning platforms, FAQ.
- Maintaining and extending the company specific terminology database and style guide and implementing projects to improve communication strategies and student satisfaction.
- You have completed a vocational training or university degree, and have at least 2 years of professional experience, ideally in customer communications, the service or translation industry.
- Writing appealing texts is your strength – of course, proficiency in both spoken and written German and English is a must.
- You are up to date with industry trends and advancements in communication and/or translation technology.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Efficient communication without frills is your thing. You know how to anticipate possible questions from your target group and stakeholders.
- You are confident in dealing with common MS Office programmes. Experience with HTML, email dispatch and content management systems as well as translation management software is an advantage.
