WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Build and release Maxon products
- Perform release management and collaborate across teams
- Improve engineering efficiency, development and release cycle times
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to code reviews and documentation
- Identification of missing functionality
- Reviews and recommends on (technical) designs
- Identify weak designs, for example missing modularity or flexibility, and propose improvements
- Recommends process improvements
- Estimation of effort for the development for new features
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of work experience in build and release engineering
- Proficient understanding of modern object-oriented programming paradigms (C++)
- DevOps practices, including scripting, configuration as code, release engineering, CI/CD
- Experience in release management and process improvements
- 2+ years of experience with Gitlab, Solid expertise in Git
- Ability to design CI/CD pipelines
- Good scripting skills in Python
- Proficient skills in macOS (Xcode) and Windows (Visual Studio)
- Ability to understand and communicate requirements, translate business needs into solutions
- Fluent written and spoken English with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas
