YOUR TASKS

• Application of standard aeroelastic calculation methods, particularly the 3D Navier Stokes method in the time and frequency domain
• Coordination of the design boundary conditions with relevant specialist disciplines
• Aeroelastic evaluation of component deviations
• Aeroelastic evaluation of the design concept with standardized aeorelastic methods
• Application of numerical optimization methods
• Participating in the specification of rig tests and analyzing results with 3D simulations
• Contributing to new/further development and maintaining aeroelastic methods and processes.
• Deriving physical principles and correlations. Optimization of turbomachinery as well as evaluating and utilizing technical literature
• Contributing to the definition and specification of technology tasks, maintaining contacts with universities and research institutes and using research results to further develop methods and processes

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree (university) in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or comparable training
• Experience in the fields of aerodynamics and aeroelastics
• Basic knowledge of numerical mathematics and numerical optimization
• Experience in the definition and coordination of analytical tasks
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix, a programming language and IT skills desirable
• Good knowledge of English
• Careful way of working and conceptual thinking
