Job Opportunity: Freelance German Language Trainer (face-to-face) – Hamburg

English Business GmbH, located in Hamburg (Germany) is a language service company and part of The Language Group (USA).

We are seeking an experienced freelance German language trainer (native-level speaker) for an on-site course in Hamburg. The course is aimed at a small group of business professionals and will focus on improving fluency in general business communication.

• Location: Hamburg city center (on-site in client offices; closest U-bahn station = Meßberg)
• Group Size: 2 to 6 participants maximum
• Participant Level: B1-B2 (Intermediate)
• Course Takeover Date: January 2025
• Schedule: Every two weeks, 90-minute sessions, Fridays preferred
• Focus: Improving spoken fluency in general business contexts (minimal grammar focus)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a German language trainer for adults

• Business experience and/or higher education outside of language education is an asset
