Übersicht: Reporting to the department Manager, the Drafter will be working in the European product development team, focused on the development of centrifugal and reciprocating cryogenic pumps, closely with the US-headquartered Engineering team.
Verantwortungsbereiche: - Issue drawings for machined parts, including tolerances, fits, detailed instructions and definition of the mechanical fits.
- Issue assembly drawings.
- Select or design the special tools needed for assembly and repair.
- Create / modify bills of materials.
- 3-D modeling in SolidWorks of pump components and create assemblies.
- Select mechanical components and incorporate them in the model.
- Prepare simple Process & Instruments Diagrams (P&ID).
- Other duties as assigned that are broadly in line with the above and key objectives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of professional background or junior Master of Engineering / BTS CPI / licence Professionnelle CPI ou equivalent.
- Proficient with assembling and manufacturing tolerance classes (GD&T).
- Provides clear drawings in accordance with the recommended practices.
- Experience utilizing SolidWorks for 3-D modeling and 2-D detailing of components & assemblies.
- Used to read and write short technical specifications.
- Used to work with an ERP system.
- Comfortable with written English language: procedures, drawings, emails. Verbal directions are given in English as well.
- Well-organized, disciplined, pragmatic, accurate and reliable team-worker, self-standing, professional work ethic.
