Gauzy is a global leader in materials science and nanotechnology focused on the development and production of LCG® (Light Control Glass) technologies.
We are looking for a talented Process Engineer, who will be responsible for the chemical operations processes in one of our production sites.

Requirements:
- BSc. /MSc. in Chemical Engineering or related fields
- At least 4 years of process engineer experience in Production Processes within a manufacturing company
- Experience in process engineering and in a laboratory environment – hands on work.
- Previous experience in R2R processes is a must
- Previous experience with coating and lamination of optical films- an advantage
- Previous experience with pumps, mixers, reactors and heat exchangers- an advantage
- Creative and open minded
- High technical skills
- Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
- High communication skills and teamwork
Anforderungen
- Bachelor / Master in Chemieingenieurwesen oder verwandten Bereichen
- Mindestens 4 Jahre Erfahrung als Verfahrenstechniker in Produktionsprozessen eines Fertigungsunternehmens
- Erfahrung in der Verfahrenstechnik und in einer Laborumgebung und „Hands on“ Mentalität.
- Erfahrung mit R2R-Prozessen sind ein Muss
- Erfahrung mit der Beschichtung und Laminierung optischer Filme sind von Vorteil
- Erfahrungen mit Pumpen, Mischern, Reaktoren und Wärmetauschern sind von Vorteil
- Kreativ und aufgeschlossen
- Hohe technische Fähigkeiten
- Fließend in Deutsch und Englisch (schriftlich und mündlich)
- Hohe Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Teamwork

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all professional chemical aspects on site
- Process improvement & scale-up
- Improving the scientific database & analysis
- Set up and maintain control and documentation procedures
- Interact with R&D and production departments
- Documenting and maintaining the production line QMS documents, along with the QA Manager
- Performing quality control at the various production stages
- Implement & carrying out tests according to the requirements of the product portfolio / specifications
- Product characterization & testing (electro-optical and microscopic measurements)

- Verantwortlich für alle professionellen chemischen Aspekte am Standort
- Prozessverbesserung & Scale-up
- Verbesserung der wissenschaftlichen Datenbank und Analyse
- Einrichtung und Pflege von Kontroll- und Dokumentationsverfahren
- Interaktion mit F&E- und Produktionsabteilungen
- Dokumentation und Pflege von QMS-Dokumenten der Produktionslinie in Zusammenarbeit mit dem QA-Manager
- Durchführung von Qualitätskontrollen in den verschiedenen Produktionsstufen
- Implementierung und Durchführung von Tests gemäß den Anforderungen des Produktportfolios bzw. der Spezifikationen
- Produktcharakterisierung und -prüfung (elektro-optische und mikroskopische Messungen)
