This role can be based in the following countries: Austria, Germany, Croatia, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, Poland and the United Kingdom.

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee routine pharmacovigilance activities under the guidance of our QPPV, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards and providing valuable veterinary expertise to the pharmacovigilance data managed by knoell Animal Health.

• Ensure the safety profile of veterinary medicinal products to promote responsible use and safeguard animal and user well-being. This role involves active participation in signal management, development of new monitoring documentation, offering veterinary medical expertise, and recommending risk communication strategies.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of pharmacovigilance data within the knoell database through rigorous quality assurance practices.
• Review pharmacovigilance cases and offer veterinary medical insights to enhance case assessments.
• Support pharmacovigilance project management efforts, contributing to the development of essential documentation such as PSMF, deviations, and standard operating procedures, and participating in inspections.
• Execute routine pharmacovigilance tasks during the post-authorization phase, including preparing PSURs/BRRs, processing spontaneous adverse event reports, conducting literature searches, and ensuring follow-up as needed.

knoell is looking for a highly motivated individual with a degree in a biological science to join our team. The candidate does not need to be a qualified veterinarian but will work closely with veterinarians from the clinical team. The successful candidate will have:

• Robust expertise in veterinary pharmacovigilance within the EU, with a minimum of five years of experience in a pharmacovigilance capacity.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, proficient in MS Office applications, and adept at engaging effectively with colleagues, clients, and regulators worldwide.
• Exceptional proficiency in spoken and written English. Fluency in a second EU language would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently amidst changing priorities.
