Working at the Charité
As part of the Charité Center 01 for Human and Health Sciences (CC1), the Institute for Public Health (IPH) aims to combine high-quality research and teaching in the field of Public Health with a special focus on research methodology. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a highly motivated student assistant to support a third-party funded project on the topic of scientific peer review. Our course "Peerspectives" enables early career researchers in biomedicine to learn about scientific peer review, and was awarded with the teaching prize of the German Society for Epidemiology.

Your tasks will include:
- Assistance in coordinating and organizing the Peer Review courseCommunication with course participants and answering course-related questions in English.
- Participation in promotional activities for the course and maintaining the course's online presence on our website
- Assistance in designing web-based train-the-trainer materials, such as a handbook, website, or videos
- Collaboration with instructors and other team members to enhance and optimize the course
- Supporting implementing the peer review course in other institutions by assisting in organizing external train-the-trainer workshops
- Helping to ensure the sustainability of our initiative by assisting in the search for and application for additional funding
- General support to the team with minor scientific or administrative tasks
- Assistance in writing interim and final reports, including literature research.
