Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced process engineer to support the sales department with the preparation of technical offers. With a strong customer focus, the Sales Support Engineer/ Application Engineer helps the sales department to achieve sales targets and thus contributes to the company's success.

Job Responsibilities

• Close interaction with Sales
• Support of the sales managers to achieve regional sales targets, by giving technical support and helping in evaluating customer requirements.
• Preparation of flow diagrams and other technical documents required for the sales process.
• Preparation of technical offers including pricing responsibility by using a broad range of knowledge about specific technologies for wastewater treatment and water reuse.
• Responsible for developing and achieving successful system designs using knowledge about wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and operations.
• Keep up to date with the latest water treatment technologies.
• Share know-how in an international Team.
• Maintain a project reference data base.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience within the wastewater treatment industry
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio
• Proven work experience in process engineering
• Excellent technical skills
• Knowledge of process related standards
• Experience in process simulations
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
• Independent and self-motivated to achieve business goals
• Effective time-management skills, understand priorities and deliver on agreed goals
• Fluent German speaking and writing, and business fluent English language skills
• Proven effectiveness working within engineering team
• Good collaborator in achieving business goals
• Good business report writing, presentation creation and delivery
