Scope of role

You’ll work together with designers, product owners and engineers in a fast moving and product-focused environment to deliver innovative solutions.

• Programming on different PHP-based projects
• Further development and improvement of existing source code
• Discussing design, architecture, usability and code on a daily basis
• Adding value to the product by implementing new features and functionalities
• Working with other developers on tasks

Required skills

• Bachelor/Master/Diploma in computer science or comparable field (software engineering) – equivalent professional experience is acceptable
• Advanced programming skills in PHP, MySQL
• Knowledge about web-based applications and architectures (SOA, 12 factor, benefits and challenges of microservices)
• Desire to constantly improve and capture new concepts, tools and technologies
• Exceptional creative and innovative problem-solving skills

Desired skills & experience

• Experience with agile software development methods and software development best practices, such as unit testing and continuous integration
• Handling of Linux, Apache and PostgreSQL is a plus
• Working with GIT
• Team-oriented working style
• Very good English language skills
• Speaking German is a plus
