Your responsibilities

You carry out inspections of pressure vessels, fittings, steel construction, piping materials, cast housings, machine components and corrosion protection at home and abroad.
You will carry out quality audits at suppliers as part of supplier qualifications and developments.
You check the production processes in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications under consideration of related quality standards and delivery times.
You create project-specific deviation reports and monitor their rectification.
You review and approve quality documentation with regard to structure, content and completeness.

Your profile

Completed training as a master craftsman, technician, or engineer, preferably with specialization in quality assurance or production. An additional training as a welding engineer (IWE / EWE) is an advantage.
You have already gained 5 years of professional experience in the field of quality assurance at suppliers.
Knowledge of surface preparation and coating is preferable.
You also have knowledge of product-related international Standards and Regulations (ASME&EN, ISO), piping, steel construction, pressure vessels and GRP components.
You have a basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
You have an independent and structured way of working and are characterized by a high level of assertiveness and good teamwork skills. You also have a confident manner when dealing with customers, suppliers, or authorities.
You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office applications.
You have a high willingness to travel for temporary, worldwide assignments with suppliers.
A high level of written and spoken English language skills are mandatory.
