You have the unique opportunity to be part of the Business Implementation team. We are an international team of experts working in E.ONs Energy Trading domain. As a product owner you would be responsible for translating business requirements from a wide range of customers in 9 regions into software solutions. Furthermore in close collaboration with our Digital Technology colleagues we are responsible for the Operations of our digital platform to keep E.ON connected to the energy markets in Europe and secure the supply of our customers.
Tasks
- Analyze all Energy Management related business activities on implementation requirements
- Maintain reference data in centrally operated IT systems
- Support new product approval process
- Maintain close relationship with request originators and IT, challenge, prioritize and escalate if necessary on every level of the delivery chain to reduce time to market of business initiatives to gain commercial advantage for E.ON
- Organize business testing and work closely with IT team on enhancing the system capabilities
- Coordinate deliverables with the business departments and be responsible for successful implementation of changes
- Take over configuration changes of the involved IT systems
- Drive knowledge sharing in your area of competence and ensure audit proof business change documentation
Qualifications
- University degree in engineering, information technologies, natural sciences, economics or comparable studies
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an energy trading/procurement or similar environment
- Business Analytical skillset with a strong delivery attitude is a must, experience to work in projects
- Solid energy trading, risk management and commodity trade life cycle knowledge: ability to drive and deliver respective system changes
- Solid IT user knowledge in this field is a pre-requisite, data modeling and SQL scripting experience would be a plus
- Ability to translate business/IS requests into actionable plans
- IT-affinity and strong Excel knowledge
- Excellent English language skills, spoken and written
