What this role looks like.

Identifying legal requirements as well as coordinating the assessment of overarching international compliance requirements and risks
Acting as a contact person for departments and project teams to assist in the clarification of legal and technical enquiries
Monitoring the regulatory environment with regard to new or changed IT-relevant requirements
Modelling workflows and digital processes as well as formulating corresponding policies, SOPs etc. and providing support with their implementation
Advising specialist teams on the applicability of and compliance with legal standards

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

Degree in law, business law (1st state examination, LL.B., LL.M.), economics or comparable qualification
Relevant professional experience in a legal department, a compliance or legal operations team, a law firm or in compliance consulting
Passion for IT, initiative and enthusiasm for working in a team as well as a high standard on the quality of your work
Creativity, analytical thinking, problem-solving oriented and hands-on mentality
Very good German and English language skills

Desirable extras.

Basic knowledge of digitalisation and software development projects as well as experience in IT security and the use of artificial intelligence is desirable
Ideally knowledge of relevant GRC solutions (e. g. Quentic, ServiceNow GRC)
Experience in the design and implementation of processes and the formulation of corresponding governance documents
Interest in legal tech, increasing process efficiency and unconventional thinking (“out-of-the-box thinking”)
