Cardiopulmonary is a Product Area within Getinge that develops and manufactures products in the areas of cardiopulmonary support, in particular related to extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and devices to support that. Role overview:
We are now looking for a skilled and experienced Leader for our Strategy & Transformation Office. A highly critical role, the future incumbent will lead our holistic transformation initiatives as Program Leader of the Strategy & Transformation Office. The STO Leader (m/f/d) will be responsible for managing the delivery of strategic initiatives within our transformation project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and provide oversight, coordination, and successful execution of interdisciplinary projects. Leading a team of central project managers who interface with project leaders inside our functional departments, the STO Leader (m/f/d) will be central point of contact for topics related to the Transformation Program or delivery of the Product Area Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the STO team, setting expectations and managing priorities
- Overall project management for the transformation program, managing resources and ensuring alignment with business objectives and overseeing the delivery of transformation projects within agreed-upon timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Develop and maintain performance metrics to track and monitor progress
- Identify and manage risks and issues related to transformation initiatives
- Communicate with senior stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment of activities, support and ensure decision taking and priority setting – report on progress, priorities, escalations, and risks
- Support the management team to implement and enforce the priorities set for the organization while ensuring ownership stays with the functional heads
- Prepare senior stakeholder meetings and communication throughout the whole of Getinge with presentations and analyses, including facilitation of cross-functional and senior leadership meetings
- Work closely with the Vice President Cardiopulmonary on top priority topics and ensure alignment in the management and department leadership team
- Implement best practices for project management and process improvement to drive efficiency and effectiveness
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization
- Interface with the global strategy officer and team to align priorities and drive best practices exchange
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in technology/engineering; ideally completed with an MBA or comparable certification in business management
- Several years of experience in Strategy/Management Consulting (Level of Project Leader) or a similar Transformation Manager role, preferably in a large organization
- Experience in MedTech or a similar highly regulated industry is a plus
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record in managing teams and resources
- Experience in project management and process improvement, with a track record of successful project delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage risks and issues
- Experience in change management and driving cultural transformation within an organization
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile) and/or process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Management) is a plus
- Fluent in German and English; knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset
- Proficient use of Microsoft
