ABOUT THE JOB

Gunzilla Games is looking to recruit a Customer Support Specialist to serve as a link between us and our players. In this role, you will aid players with their inquiries and issues through a typed-chat client, email, and social media channels.

The ideal candidate is an experienced customer support specialist who is very organized, with excellent customer service skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

We are looking for someone who wants to continually grow their skills take more responsibility within the customer service area and become our players' advocate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist players with inquiries and issues relating to their accounts on our game OTG (Off The Grid) and other products via a chat-based client, phone, and email.
• Investigate and follow up on inquiries/issues and respond/resolve in the most efficient manner possible.
• Perform data entry and order processing functions.
• Provide information to customers on in-game-related issues, account status, transactions, and billing issues.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• 1-2 years of experience in customer service experience preferably in the games industry
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with players, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to identify, empathize, and address player issues in a timely manner.
• Comfortable with social media and other online communication channels.
• Able to work independently.
• Strong multi-tasking ability.
• Experience working with confidential customer account information.
• Strong knowledge of Windows-based operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, or equivalent tools.
• Able to deal with customer issues over a range of channels.
• Advanced typing skills.
• Passion for video games
