Your tasks:

• Lead and oversee overall finance operation, ensure timely monthly/quarterly/year end closing in accordance with IFRS.
• Design and implement effective financial strategies and take lead in financial planning and analysis.
• Lead the finance team to deliver financial advice, backed by solid data and analysis to aid management team with strategic decision making.
• Deliver annual audited financial statements at the group and entity level.
• Drive company-wide budgetary planning, including delivering accurate monthly budget and actual expenses monthly management reporting and working with business partners to understand their department’s finance and operations.
• Oversee internal policies and identify financial risks.
• Oversee accounting principles, policies, and finance operations.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and tax commitments.
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, local tax and government authorities where required

Requirements:

• 5 to 10 years of finance experience, preferably a mix with a Big 4 firm and finance position in a private firm
• 4+ years' experience in leadership position
• Degree in Finance, Banking, Audit, or Accounting, Professional qualifications preferred (e.g. ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
• Good understanding of IFRS
• Experience in accounting system rollout
• Integration / turnaround experience is a big plus
• Experience from working with multi-functional teams in a global organization
• Potential to lead a larger team across Europe countries
