About the Team & Business Line:

For over 75 years Citco has developed an ethos of service excellence and partnership in corporate fiduciary and administration that our clients rely upon. Through our global office network we provide a full suite of corporate administrative services to set up, administer and maintain corporate entities throughout their life cycle.

Working within the Corporate Solutions (C2S) business line of Citco, you will be in charge of the ongoing administration and governance of a large portfolio of client-companies for multinational, corporate and private clients as well as private debt clients. You will report to the local Senior Management Team.

• General accounting and bookkeeping according to (inter)national and industry specific accounting requirements;
• Prepare annual, quarterly or monthly management accounts for client companies, including preparation of balance sheets and P&L; we will expect you to be able to work autonomously but able to recognize when assistance is needed;
• Pro-actively maintain and develop a network of internationally established clients;
• Audit Planning & Management;
• Advise senior management on development in the German market and its impact on the client portfolio;
• Assisting, as necessary, with the structuring of financial and property transactions, and the creation, maintenance and dissolving international companies for the purpose of property acquisition;
• Maintenance of high quality operating standards, procedures and quality controls; and
• Attend to queries raised by clients, (tax) advisors, lawyers, notaries, other professionals, government institutions and other Citco offices worldwide.

About You:

• A (Bachelor) degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline and 2 years’ experience in an accounting position with an international organization or corporate service provider;
• Have a strong analytical mind-set and the ability to deliver high quality service;
• Knowledge of preparation of financial statements based on German GAAP; Knowledge of IFRS or any other GAAP would be considered as advantage;
• Be a meticulous, proactive and attentive to details;
• Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously;
• Fluent German and good command of both written and spoken English;
• Be willing to learn and able to adapt in new challenges.
