As a
Media and Communication Designer, you will work closely together with the marketing team to strengthen our MyTherapy (B2C) and smartpatient (B2B) brands to reach potential new users, business partners, and recruits. In collaboration with our patient engagement specialists, you will also design eye-catching visuals to make content for our patients and readers more approachable and understandable. As a technology-driven company, you will work in an environment with the latest tools and collaboration processes.

Daily tasks:
- Creating various designs for marketing campaigns, AppStore presence, social media imagery, blog posts, and ads across a wide range of mediums.
- Designing with scalability and localization in mind, where templates can be repurposed.
- Searching for stock visual assets (images, videos, animation) that fit a defined tonality and work with our target audiences.
- Creating and improving designs for websites or landing pages and collaborating with web programmers.
- Occasionally creating print designs (leaflets, folders, giveaways).
- Using and extending the brand fundamentals of our B2B and B2C brands.
- Giving feedback constructively to other Media and Communication Designers in design reviews.
- Collaborating effectively with the marketing, content, product, and design teams.
- Guiding and briefing a Media and Communications Design Intern.
Our current tech stack:
- Adobe CC (mainly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, and AfterEffects).
- Figma.
- Stock Photo Libraries.
- MS Teams and Slack.
Must-haves:
- Around 2-3 years of experience working as a Media Designer or similar.
- Finished apprenticeship (e.g. Mediengestalter) or bachelor's degree in design (e.g. Media Designer, Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, or similar).
- A portfolio that reflects your design knowledge and good eye and taste for aesthetics, image language, and visual tonality.
- Good understanding of preparing optimized graphics for the web and prints, and design tools to support the work.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Good knowledge of Adobe CC.
