What makes our area special:

In Roche Diagnostics Operations Penzberg, we are globally responsible for the production of active ingredients for in-vitro diagnostics. Our team produces antibody polymers for the Elecsys portfolio as well as for Custom Biotech. Our products are used as interference proteins in all Elecsys tests and thus form an important basis for immuno-IVD diagnostics.

How you can contribute your know-how:

• After a well-supervised induction phase, you will be responsible for the production of interference polymers on a laboratory and pilot plant scale

• You will be responsible for the independent, technical control and monitoring of our production facilities

• Performing in-process controls using a wide variety of methods (e.g. HPLC, PCS, spectrophotometry, pH and conductivity determination) is part of your job

• The continuous compliance with all regulations in the areas of occupational safety, environmental protection and quality assurance is a matter of course for you

• You make sure that our quality standards are met and that all steps are carefully documented according to DIN ISO or GMP. This also includes checking batch records for completeness and plausibility

• You are also responsible for the calibration and maintenance of all required equipment as well as for the order and cleanliness of your workplace

• You support the implementation of scale-up and optimization processes

• You also provide important impulses to improve and further develop processes and workflows and participate in the implementation

This is exactly who we are looking for:

• You have successfully completed vocational training as a chemical or biological laboratory assistant, (m/f/d), CTA, MTA, BTA or a comparable education

• Ideally, you already have practical experience in protein/biochemistry or chemistry

• Experience in handling technical equipment for our manual and semi-automated processes is an advantage

• You are a true team player and have persuasiveness, keep an overview even in stressful situations and don't forget to have fun at work

• You are confident in using common MS Office applications and have basic SAP knowledge

• We can rely on your very good German and good English skills

• You are characterized by a reliable, independent and careful way of working
