The Global Technical Trainer is a crucial role, involving the research, design, development and delivery of training, in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts, to support our customer facing colleagues in understanding not only our products, but our customers applications and the unique needs of their industry. This will ensure that we speak to customers in their own language, building credibility and sustainable relationships.
- Own and further develop the Technical Training Program, as well as maintain content relevance
- Work with all different areas in TSS globally (engineers, sales, marketing, etc)
- Build network/community for technical training and maintain its business relevance
- Measure the effectiveness of technical trainings, support in analyzing reports and identify areas of improvement to continuously improve the content
- Act as a filter between SME’s and training development
- Ensure continual alignment between customers/SME’s expectations and course creation
- Lead multiple content development projects
- Develop and deliver technical trainings (basic sealing technology, not specialized knowledge fields)
- Support technical trainers in designing and delivering trainings
- Create blended learning solutions together with the internal e-Learning team (course design, learning objectives, support in storyboarding etc.)
- Consult the respective trainers regarding potential for improvement and optimization.
- Promote and plan/coordinate the Train the Trainer program to/for technical trainers as applicable and in coordination with the Global Training Manager.
- Technical education (min Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related fields, or relevant practical experience)
- Expert with technical knowledge as well as manufacturing processes
- Experience in a customer-facing role involving handling relations between internal or external customers and the company, especially in technical application or sales roles.
- Basic experience as a trainer/presenter.
- Experience in working in a global organization
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in English (German would be an asset)
- Web/IT literate (PPT, MS Teams)
