To be honest, we can certainly understand this question and are happy to shed light on the jungle of words:
Our department is responsible for and accompanies innovative & strategic projects for product management as well as the areas of components, engines, market research, product information and competitor analysis, among others.

"Okay. And what can I imagine by that?"

Together we realize ideas, impulses & innovations for vehicles and sales processes of the future with agile working methods. We work closely networked with our internal partners (e.g. design, development, marketing and communication) and the international sales organizations.

"Super! But I'm not quite clear yet how I can imagine such projects."

No problem. Here are some examples of questions in current projects:

• What does sustainability mean for our Mercedes-Benz vehicles of the future?
• How can we offer our customers attractive individualizations across all models?
• What do offer scenarios of the future look like?

"Sounds cool! But what would my tasks be in the process? Make coffee and copy?"

Don't worry, no one has to make and copy coffee with us. Unless of course you want to or have attended a barista course.

We would like to fully integrate you into our team and our daily work routine. Your tasks are, for example, the support of the project management, internal coordination and preparation of current agile projects as well as the independent processing of individual work packages. Most of our projects only run for a few months. This gives you the opportunity to work in several projects and get to know many different topics.
Here is a small first insight into possible tasks:

• You create presentations, research and analyses - and, if you feel like it, you can give free rein to your presentation skills here and thus further develop them
• You conduct market and competitor screenings with regard to new business models and approaches
• You collaborate in design thinking processes and analyses
• You manage and coordinate product projects, taking into account agile working methods
• You shape topics around the next generation of our vehicles with us

"Wow, this is exactly what I want to do! What are the requirements for me and my application?"

• Degree in business administration, communication sciences, media design, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study
• Confident knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
• Talent for designing presentations, confident handling of MS Office (focus on PowerPoint and Excel)
• Commitment, ability to work in a team, willingness to work hybrid (from home and Stuttgart-Vaihingen), high analytical and conceptual skills, strategic way of working, high level of commitment
• Advantageous: experience in project management or consulting, experience with agile working methods, open to Blue Sky approaches and methods, strong car affinity and knowledge of Mercedes-Benz vehicles as well as the competition
