Internship assignment:
The Vision Automation team is responsible for image processing and defect detection across all assembly lines and shops. In Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg, there are currently about 100 inspections running distinct neural networks. We are currently doubling this amount of inspections annually. As the impact and capability of machine learning and image processing grows in our production lines, factory operations increasingly rely on these systems to operate nominally. A Technical Support Engineer Intern that can flex between software, operations, and machine learning is needed.
What You’ll Do
- Work as an incident commander of production critical calls that require coordination between cross-functional teams
- Supporting the software team in triaging issues that arise from production site operations to ensure they are being resolved
- Work closely with software development team for new feature enhancements and resolving system bugs
- Supporting the configuration and administration of software deployment at the Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg site
What You’ll Bring
- Preferably studying a relevant fiel like Software Engineering with knowledge of basis of machine learning
- +1 years of experience with Python, Go or other software development language
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
- Experience in problem solving, application issues, or production operations
- Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic and a self-starter
