Be part of NXP’s ADAS Systems Engineering team, responsible for the definition of next generation processing solutions covering advanced driver assistance systems and safety applications. We are seeking technology game changers to lead the digital transformation to this new world of automotive technology with a focus on the customer experience.
Strong understanding of automotive applications used in high performance vehicle computers, domain controllers and central gateways as well as arising topics like ECU up integration (powertrain, chassis, body, ADAS…)
High level of experience in microcontroller/microprocessor architectures as well as network interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, CAN…)
Profound background on security topics related to MCU/MPUs is a plus.
Good understanding of software needs for POSIX and AutoSAR related applications driving the HW architecture
Mature understanding in high level, inductive safety analyses (safety oriented FMEAs) of architectures and related safety concepts
Ability to work at the system-level, identifying optimal partitioning of solutions between hardware and software.
Very good knowledge of high-level modeling languages (Matlab, System C, C++, UML etc.)
Experience in the automotive environment and in dealing with common standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO26262, SPICE
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Information sharing, presenting, working as a team player, and striving for clarity comes natural to you.
Comfortable working with the ambiguity inherent in implementing new technologies
Professional working proficiency in English is required and German is beneficial.
10+ years of relevant experience as senior software developer or software architect
Strong customer engagement & experience. Direct experience with Automotive Tier1 or OEMs preferred.
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar required, Master preferred.
