Fraunhofer EMFT conducts cutting-edge applied research on sensors and actuators for people and the environment. The about 150 employees in the three locations in Munich, Oberpfaffenhofen and Regensburg possess impressive long-term experience and wide-ranging know-how in the fields of microelectronics and microsystem technology. The technology offering of the research institute ranges from semiconductor processes, MEMS technologies and 3D integration to foil electronics. These nano- and microtechnologies are the basis for the other competence areas at Fraunhofer EMFT: sensor solutions, safe and secure electronics, and micropumps. In Munich, our employees research the development, optimisation and production of electronic components based on CMOS for our clients and project partners from industry. As a quality manager and responsible person for line control with the help of an industry-oriented MES (manufacturing execution system) you will be a great asset to our Components/Applications team. What you will do

• You will analyse and improve our manufacturing processes for semiconductor components in close consultation with our industrial customers in order to meet increasing requirements.
• You will search precisely for sources of error, identify causes and develop custom-fit solutions.
• You evaluate quality data, define standards and work on the continuous improvement of processes.
• You create and optimise QM documents in accordance with ISO 9001, monitor databases and directories and contribute to compliance with quality standards.
• In addition, you participate in an interdepartmental exchange to jointly drive projects forward and strengthen quality awareness.

What you bring to the table

• You have a degree in natural sciences, engineering, economics, business administration or a comparable field.
• You have initial experience in the ISO 9001 standard. Knowledge of the associated automotive standards and professional experience is an advantage.
• You are proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, and have an affinity for document management.
• You enjoy dealing with customers, are goal-oriented, articulate and work very independently, in a structured, precise and self-reliant manner.
• You are an analytical and conscientious team player and score points with a hands-on mentality.
• You are curious to get to know work in a science-related environment and are highly motivated to familiarise yourself with new topics and gain practical experience. Career starters are very welcome!

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
