Our team in Essen currently has an opening for a Senior Transformation Manager EMEA (m/f/d)

The Senior Transformation Manager EMEA (m/f/d) drives regional transformation efforts at Brenntag as the go-to-person regarding all transformation topics at a regional level. The function drives changes in organizational structure and processes, gives guidance and coordinates focal points and ensures progress of transformation and ensures link into the global Transformation Office.

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support general implementation (structuring, leading, driving) of transformation portfolio of initiatives and roadmap within the region with the goal to make things happen
• Act as sparring partner to business leaders, workstreams and measure owners on regional level
• Actively manages objectives of key transformation projects and programs and ensure alignment with leaders and other stakeholders
• Focus attention of leaders to what matters most and ensure deliverable- and execution-focused project management
• Provide guidance, impulses, and hands-on support for selected initiatives to ensure progress, consistency, and quality incl. independent project management
• Support systematic prioritization and development of transformation roadmap across region
• Responsible for aligning manifold measures with Change Management, Communication., HR and Controlling and engage them to work on most pressing issues
• Assess key execution risks, flag issues proactively and pre-emptively in region and communicate these to Transformation Office organization and Global Vice Presidents
• Track & challenge measure implementation, and provide reporting and other updates to management
• Liaise with leaders to develop mitigation measures and support them to build local transformation capabilities to ensure functional excellence within regions and divisions

YOUR PROFILE

• Master Degree Business, Management or related fields
• 8+ years of relevant project leading expertise in a top-tier management/strategy consultancy and/or multinational work environment
• Several years of experience in large-scale organizational transformations, operating model development and making operating models work
• Experience in chemical distribution will be advantageous
• Comprehensive knowledge of transformation processes, (agile) project management and tools
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, high capabilities of conceptual thinking and quick comprehension of new topics
• Self-driven, independent, and reliable working style with curiosity to think beyond the obvious
• Ability to deliver on ambitious targets with demanding deadlines in combination with high customer and results orientation
• Strong ability to manage complexity, work on several parallel workstreams, dynamic workflows and large-scale programs
• Communication, networking and interpersonal skills with ability to connect well to drive organizational transformation
• Fluent written and spoken English language skills; good German language skills would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel within EMEA
