As Quality Assurance Manager in Tires IT you ensure the fulfillment of the quality assurance objectives by monitoring, reviewing and enforcing policies and procedures. You will manage the quality management system (QMS) including the definition, documentation and maintenance of rules of the QMS and lead audits in Tires IT. In addition, you are responsible for the life cycle of rules and processes and align the requirements from the rules and external standards (e.g. IATF or TISAX) or external customers (e.g. VW, BMW, ...) within the Quality Board.

In this exciting job, you work on the following tasks:

• Defining the quality management strategy and roadmap for Tires IT
• Responsibility for aligning top management's strategy, framework, and activities related to Tires IT quality with stakeholders inside and outside the IT organization
• Establishing a quality management organization (Quality Board) with defined roles and responsibilities and coordination within Tires IT on all issues related to the quality management system (QMS) and audits
• Defining, implementing and maintaining a holistic QMS for Tires IT that meets regulatory, customer and internal requirements within the IT Tire Division
• Acting as interface to the Tire Group Sector Quality Organization and global Quality IT Network
• Ensuring alignment between the global process structure and the structure in the Competence Centers and locations (sales and plant locations) within the QMS
• Preparing, coordinating and following-up all central (internal and external) audits and supporting the Competence Center and sites in internal and external audits
• Preparing and coordinating quality management reviews within Tires IT

• Academic degree (University of Applied Science or higher) in MINT, economical with a strong technical track record and several years of work experience or comparable qualification
• Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role
• Multiple years of work experience in managing and leading functional project teams
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
• Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000, TISAX, etc.)
• Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
• Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken), German language skills are desirable
• Outstanding presentation and communication skill
• Good team work skills, intercultural sensitivity and high interest in working in global, virtual teams
• Strong focus on Quality with a self-orientated and goal-driven working-style
