Your Mission
We are looking for a Junior Controller, to help advance our FP&A, forecasting, and financial reporting capabilities within the Controlling team.
As someone who is relatively early on in your Controlling career, you will become an integral part of our FP&A function, supporting in the creation of monthly sales analysis, the preparation of liquidity reports, and the documentation of project updates across a variety of topics. Whilst a large part of the role is routine work, you will have the opportunity to advance our processes and take on your own projects, helping improve our overall team capabilities. As the role involves working with complex data, it is essential you have a passion and skill for financial analysis (Excel, Google Sheets) and reporting.
This position is based in either Germany, UK, Spain or the Netherlands. We offer the option to work remotely from any of these countries as well as hybrid or on-site alternatives for those living in Berlin. Your Responsibilities
- Analyze and communicate monthly sales results and trends
- Communicate analysis findings using presentations, face to face meetings etc
- Prepare monthly reports that support liquidity management processes
- Document analysis findings and project updates
- Participate in the quarterly forecasting process through processing forecasts and the uploading of data to our BI tools
- Work with both other Finance teams e.g. Accounting to understand financial entries, and Non-Finance teams e.g. BI in support of Controlling processes
Your Profile
- You have some experience in an FP&A or related role
- You have a degree in Business Administration (or other Finance related)
- You love to deep-dive into complex data sets to derive new insights
- You enjoy building or digging into reporting tools such as Tableau to find new ways of sharing analysis results and information
- You are happy to perform both regular monthly routines and ad-hoc project work
- You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working with stakeholders to collectively find solutions to problems
- You are fluent in English
