Do you enjoy working in a tissue culture laboratory and do you find the transformation of plants exciting? Then join us as a Technical Assistant Cell Biology (m/f/d) in the Genome Modification Service Team of KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA. The position will be filled full-time at our location in Einbeck as part of a parental leave replacement for 1.5 years. You can look forward to working in the laboratory and greenhouse.

That awaits you:

Perform transformation experiments of different crops in the laboratory
Processing of transgenic events: leaf sampling, delivery to customer, greenhouse or clone-bank; seed processing
Growth of donor material for transformation in the laboratory and in the greenhouse
Proper documentation of experiments in electronic notebooks and in the respective databases

With this profile you fit to the position:

Completed PT, ATA or BTA training or similar
First professional experience in the laboratory as well as experience with in-vitro culture
Experience at a greenhouse would be a plus, if not you should be open for this
Good knowledge of PC and office software, pleasure in dealing with software solutions
Very good teamwork skills as well as a reliable way of working
With fluent German language as well as working in an English-speaking environment, you should feel comfortable
