Your role and responsibilities

Partnering with relevant leaders to comprehend business drivers, current and long-term strategies, and identifying opportunities for HR to enhance the business Implementing strategies and plans related to organizational development, optimal utilization, redeployment, and the best allocation of human resources Driving high performance in the Business Area Robotics & Discrete Automation Germany, in line with global business performance standards, KPIs, and targets Representing HR in the broader business, establishing robust relationships with leaders by providing assistance and guidance on HR matters Ensuring clarity and action on the people and organizational capabilities required in the medium- to long-term Interpreting HR Analytics data to comprehend key organizational dynamics, trends, and issues, and utilizing findings to specify and implement relevant actions Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

Qualifications for the role

• Several years of experience in Human Resources with first experience as HR Business Partner
• A degree in business administration, psychology or similar or comparable education with relevant professional experience
• Experience in integration projects and proficiency in working and negotiating with works councils is advantageous
• A strategic business partner with a keen understanding of business needs, fostering organizational growth, and enabling individuals to tackle new challenges
• A creative and collaborative thinker, excellent communicator, and organizer, bringing a high degree of empathy to working relationships
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands on your time and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel as necessary
• Fluent in both written and spoken German and English
