BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Solid Consultative Sales and Business Development experience in Software-Technology environments with pipeline creation and revenue delivery responsibilities
• Proven direct field experience working with customers
• Track record of building rapport with senior C-level stakeholders
• Previous working domain experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or related data / analytics technologies
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a matrix organization (leveraging multiple functions and teams)
• Solid influencing skills to drive the business agenda in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience working with cloud-based technologies
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• Strong verbal and written communications skills in German and English

Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) EMEA GenAI team as a Business Development Specialist!

Role is based out of DACH; responsibilities will cover segments and regions within the EMEA team.

Key job responsibilities
As a Field Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for growing adoption, utilization, and revenue for AWS services in a sales region.
You will gather customer and industry needs and partner with AWS product teams to innovate, develop, and deliver AWS solutions. BD Specialists are technically savvy resources responsible for identifying opportunities to innovate with customers, influencing the AWS product roadmap, and driving revenue for your AWS service(s).
You will be the direct business owner for geo-segments, or areas, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes. You will develop and influence GTM strategies and sales plays for new or existing services, and drive customer and partner engagements by participating in AWS field enablement activities.
You will also identify gaps in AWS products or feature sets based on customer insights and partner with internal product teams and account managers to win strategic customer workloads and drive business revenue.
