ensign advisory is a medium-sized, independent management consultancy based in Düsseldorf, Germany, that combines innovative methods and tools of international management consulting with comprehensive industry know-how around technically demanding industrial goods. Founded in 2015, the fast-growing team advises medium-sized companies and international group companies on topics such as M&A, restructuring, product development as well as business and technical excellence. Furthermore, ensign advisory founds and invests in start-ups and implements concepts operationally on the line by means of interim mandates.

You will work as a junior consultant in international teams on diverse and interesting projects in Germany and Europe.
You will reinforce our teams in the areas of M&A/Restructuring and/or Engineering Excellence.
You will analyze individual customer situations, as well as identify and evaluate the required fields of action.
You demonstrate your analytical thinking skills in preparing detailed market and competitive analyses.
You support the preparation of management decision-making situations: from detailed technical concepts to highly condensed top management presentations.
You develop strategies and concepts together with our other consultants and implement them.
First practical experience (internship, working student…) in a management consultancy, in-house consultancy, strategy department or a manufacturing company (at least 1 year of relevant experience is an advantage)
Structured approach, analytical and conceptual skills, and a high degree of initiative
Team player with good communication skills and fun at work
Initial practical experience in international teams
Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
Willingness to travel worldwide (main location of activities is Düsseldorf; flexwork and home office depending on project)
Focus M&A/Restructuring:
Completed studies in the field of economics/international management with good to very good grades or an equivalent qualification
Focus Engineering Excellence:
Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering or mechanical engineering with good to very good grades or an equivalent qualification
