Your responsibilities:

• Acquire and develop aerodynamic and flight-physical technologies consistant with the necessities and strategies in design and development
• Contribute to the continued improvement of the aerodynamics process chain from geometry definition via numerical simulation to post-processing
• Develop expertise in the efficient use of numerical and experimental aerodynamic prediction tools
• Contribute to the achievement of all vehicle projects aerodynamic and flight performance requirements within prescribed time, cost and quality objectives
• Link with all disciplines for physics of flight such as performance, stability & control, mass-properties, loads, structures, etc
• Answer to aerodynamics program specification by developing & maintaining technologies, methods and tools and skills
• Provide knowledge and competence in the aerodynamic disciplines to support overall design as well as components and systems Integration needs
• Link with the internal and external research community in the field of aerodynamics and flight physics

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of Aerospace Engineering or similar
• Team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to integrate in an multi-cultural and -disciplinary working environment
• Excellent technical and mathematical comprehension
• First experience in a similar position would be beneficial
• MS-Office, Matlab, CAD (CATIA), CFD-Erfahrung, Unix, Python, modern Post-Processing (e.g. Tecplot)
• Fluency in English, German is an advantage
• Person with self-assurance and the ability to make decisions independently but also to integrate oneself into the team
