We are seeking a highly motivated Safety Manager to join our team. This position will play a pivotal role in driving various safety programs across our global operations. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of hazards in constructions sites, a strong interest for communication and collaboration with different departments - but most importantly a passion for all aspects of safety.
- Actively participate in the development and anchoring of a holistic, company-wide safety strategy and an implementation roadmap for global operation sites
- Collaborate in the implementation of processes and structures to ensure zero accidents, including the elaboration of annual development plans
- Participate in cross-functional, international teams and working groups to ensure successful implementation and integration of safety initiatives
- Shape the safety environment of the operation sites and actively sharpen the safety mind-set of the respective leadership
Qualified safety engineer, occupational health and safety practitioner (SiFa) or similar in line with German safety regulations
Relevant professional experience in safety management, ideally worldwide, combined with an international attitude, preferably acquired in operations on construction sites in the crane industry, oil and gas industry or similar
Ability to manage risks on construction sites (e.g. lifting operations)
Experience in auditing and international safety standards
Highly articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German (mandatory)
Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines
Lead cross-functional initiatives in a collaborative environment with an emphasis both on teamwork and individual accountability
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong hands-on mentality and willingness to travel to various jobsites as well as intercultural awareness
