Responsibilities:
Conduct exploratory data analysis to discover trends and patterns in large datasets.
Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
Clean, preprocess, and wrangle data for analysis and modeling.
Evaluate and optimize model performance, considering factors like accuracy, precision, recall, and interpretability.
Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through visualizations, reports, and presentations.
Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and techniques in the field of data science.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
Competence in handling and analyzing large datasets using SQL and other relevant tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex analytical projects.
Effective communication skills to convey complex findings to diverse audiences.
Bonus Skills:
Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Industry-specific expertise (e.g., finance, healthcare, e-commerce).
