THE TEAM

You will join our Robotics team, responsible for designing, producing, and maintaining our autonomous mobile robots - arculees.. You will be a part of a cross-functional, agile, international, and distributed workforce, creating the best possible experience for our users.

RESPONSIBILITIES

At arculus Software Engineer-DevOps develop and operate the Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment pipeline and data infrastructure within an agile environment. As a Software Engineer your tasks will include:

• Develop and maintain our CI/CD pipeline and build tools.

• Design, implement and maintain over-the-air updates infrastructure and appliances.

• Design, implement and operate data pipelines for incident and data analysis.

• Participate in architectural decisions with a focus on robustness, scalability, and security.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Deep understanding of Linux-based operating systems, in particular Debian and derivatives.

• Strong skills with virtualisation and automation tools like Docker and Ansible.

• Experience building non-trivial CI/CD infrastructure.

• Comfortable programming in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, Shell). and compiled languages (e.g. C/C++, Rust).

• Basic understanding of IP networks (routing, firewalls, VPN).

• Ability to produce detailed technical documentation in English.

NICE TO HAVE

• Involvement in Open Source projects is a plus.
