Due to increasing demand for digital solutions, we are looking for a motivated Backend Software Engineer/ Computer Science Expert (f/m/d) for our Digital Solutions Department in Berlin.

• Design, development and implementation of innovative software solutions for cloud computing via the entire product lifecycle

• Collaboration with international developers and other GEA-wide experts in the area of IT infrastructure and IT security

• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code

• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes

• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science, technical computer science or computer engineering

• Extended knowledge of software design (object-oriented) and development with C ++, C #, .Net, Azure, (Databricks)

• Multiple years of experience

• Knowledge of gateway API, database connectivity, server infrastructure, Linux and Windows development

• Preferred experience in IIoT, Edge and Cloud Computing, Connectivity, Docker, Python, JSON, TypeScript, JavaScript

• Experience with agile development

• Fluent English and German (speech and written)
