What do you contribute?
Your new job will take you into fleet management for our Vectron product platform. Here we accompany our vehicles, which are in use Europe-wide during the warranty period and ensure a reliable fleet (including conversion and upgrading if necessary).
- As sub-project manager (f/m/d) fleet management of the Vectron platform, you will work closely with project management, engineering, suppliers, the European warranty service centres and Customer Services (CS).
- You are responsible for the evaluation of reliability and availability data as well as for the follow-up of the effectiveness of improvement measures. You are also responsible for visualising and presenting the measures to the customer.
- You identify weak points and pass them on to the respective specialist department (e.g. engineering) for the development of solution proposals. You prioritise improvement measures for their elimination and define the scope of the measures within the Vectron platform.
- In doing so, you always keep an eye on the economic efficiency of the measures and coordinate closely with claim management and purchasing.
- The necessary conversions and upgrades initiated by you are implemented by the neighbouring group, with whom you work closely.
- You always have an overview of the current status of reliability in the fleet as well as the improvement measures in progress and report to different stakeholders (e.g. project/department management) as required.
What do you bring along?
- You have a university degree in electrical engineering.
- In addition, you have many years of professional experience as a sub-project manager (e.g. in engineering, commissioning/warranty) and have already had contact with suppliers.
- You have a high level of overall technical understanding. Experience and knowledge in railway technology are an advantage.
- You confidently bring together information on topics that were previously unknown to you in order to solve problems, thereby coordinating and evaluating the work of the experts.
- You are used to creating meaningful presentations with the usual tools and presenting them to internal and external interfaces.
- You are confident in using data processing applications (MS Office, Teams, Planner Sharepoint) as well as document management systems (Teamcenter, SAP). You have the ability to familiarise yourself with new IT tools (e.g. tools for data analysis).
- You communicate confidently in English. Knowledge of German and another foreign language is an advantage.
