Key Responsibilities
You will actively partner with the leadership team of our Warehouse businesses, focusing on both implementing and maintaining people processes, alongside driving transformation and change management initiatives. Your role will evolve through 2026, transitioning from initial implementation to a steady-state scope, encompassing:
- Collaborating with People function stakeholders to implement the People Strategy across your locations.
- Delivering our service model by working closely with HR professionals and specialists within our People Advisory and Centres of Excellence teams.
- Cultivating robust relationships with leaders and their teams, serving as their primary contact and strategic advisor on all people-related matters.
- Leading the local execution of the annual HR Cycle, including performance management, compensation reviews, succession planning, and development initiatives.
- Managing employee relations issues and providing expert advice to leaders on HR policies and related matters.
- Ensuring local compliance by staying current with employment law.
- Facilitating talent mobility, encouraging internal transfers for developmental experiences.
- Leveraging real-time people insights to identify and resolve improvement opportunities with leaders and local management.
- Conducting training and workshops for local leadership teams and employees on various HR topics.
- Assisting with on-site recruitment and coordinating essential on-site employee activities like onboarding and training.
Who We Are Looking For

- Extensive experience as an HR generalist with profound understanding of HR fundamentals, including recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, compensation, development, and employee relations.
- A proven passion for business, demonstrated through effective partnerships with leaders to achieve business objectives.
- Advanced knowledge of local labor law, including experience in unionized environments.
- Substantial experience within fast-paced organizations, ideally in the warehouse, logistics, or services industry, encompassing HR policy development, interpretation, and fostering high employee engagement.
- The capacity to serve as a trusted advisor on diverse HR matters and lead local implementation of global/regional HR initiatives.
- Experience within large international organizations, coupled with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Proficient change management, facilitation, and coaching abilities.
- A proactive and autonomous approach, balanced with a collaborative style that promotes teamwork and solution-finding.
- Flexibility and adaptability to deliver results in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Resilience to manage complex change processes, embracing uncertainty, overcoming challenges, and ensuring successful outcomes.
- A self-driven, energetic, and 'can-do' attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German (mandatory) and English.
