Environmental Consultant

(all genders)

Your tasks:

Inspection of storage areas for hazardous substances and evaluation of waste streams with regard to compliance with applicable national standards and international regulations.
Review and update USAG Bavaria's environmental management plans, including hazardous waste management plans.
Data entry and database management of environmental management systems.
Active participation in project meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including German environmental authorities.

Our requirements:

You can communicate easily in both English and German, whether in technical discussions or in documentation and correspondence with other project participants.
You have theoretical and, in the best case, practical knowledge of environmental regulations, technologies and guidelines as well as environmental management systems.
You have current certificates in the storage of hazardous substances in accordance with TRGS 509, 510 and 520 or are available for training on these topics.
You have the curiosity and open-mindedness to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of activity.
You have good communication skills and an understanding of the requirements of working in an international context.
You have a valid class B driver's license.
