For our Business Unit Care Chemicals, we are looking for an Automation Scientist (m/f/d) in Frankfurt/Höchst. This position is temporary until June 2025.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and revision of detailed CAD drawings that include various mechanical components.
• Design and construction of test modules for integration into existing systems.
• 3D Printing: including combined printing of various materials, and independent development of printer profiles.
• Connection and installation of electrical wiring for simple circuits in the voltage range below 24 volts.
• Supporting the setup and maintenance of laboratory infrastructure, as well as the organization system and inventory.
• Planning and coordination of work for the various contractors in the laboratory environment.
• Working with electricians on more complex circuits, and mechanics to generate ideas and implement automation solutions.
• Collaboration with software developers and industrial robots, with a preference for experience with Universal Robots.
• Adjustment of offsets and maintenance of automated systems to ensure smooth operation.

Requirements

• Qualification in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years industrial experience.
• Structured approach and organizational skills.
• Fluent Englich, German advantageous.
