YOUR TASKS
- Use Matlab, Simulink, and Simscape to simulate the system, and design mechanical elements using CAD software like PTC CREO
- Building test setups to verify the simulations in real-world scenarios
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team
- Translate functional requirements into product requirements and layouts, involved in prototyping and testing, and drive certification according to railway standards
- Work closely with Electronic-, Software-Development and data science experts to ensure that the solutions meets customer needs and comply with industry standards
YOUR PROFILE
- A degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering
- Experience in mechatronic product design, particularly in the railway industry, and brake system design
- Proficiency in Matlab, Simulink, Simscape, and PTC CREO for mechanical design
- Occasional travel may be necessary for testing and collaboration
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
